On Friday, January 9, 2026, a vibrant cultural celebration took place at ICC Suriname in honor of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and World Hindi Day. During the event, the Ambassador of India presented the prestigious Pt. Jan Rampersad Ramkhelawan International Art & Culture Award to five distinguished Baithak Gana Ustads:
